FBC Kennedy Scholarship 2025-2026

FBC Kennedy Scholarship Requirements

2025-2026

 

  1. Must be a member of FBC who has actively participated in church programs.
  2. Must maintain a 3.0 GPA or have a 3.0 GPA graduating from high school.
  3. Must be accepted into an accredited college/university or other institute of higher learning and must be enrolled in a degree granting program.
  4. Must be a full-time student.
  5. Applicant must be HOPE Scholarship eligible except for the GA residency requirement.
  6. First time applicants must have a completed reference form submitted by June 30, 2025.
  7. All applicants should submit essay and grades by June 30, 2025. To be considered an official transcript it must be in the original, sealed envelope or an e-transcript must be emailed from the school to JMiller@fbcaugusta.org.
  8. Application must be completed and submitted to the committee by June 30, 2025.

Sunday Mornings

Bible Study

10:00 a.m.  – 10:45 a.m. on the 2nd floor of the Walton building

Every Sunday, students gather for fellowship and Bible Study on the second floor of the Walton Education Building. Mornings begin with gathering, fellowship, and many times food. Each age group has their own meeting space, style, and format while working through the study together.

Sunday Evenings

Rise Youth Worship

5:30 p.m. – 6:00 p.m. Food and Fellowship

6:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m. – Youth Worship

Rise Youth Worship is a time of fun and fellowship with each other and more importantly a worship time that is specifically designed for youth aged students.

College Ministry

An active and growing College Ministry is an important part of our life at FBC Augusta.

With active local college campuses, our college students are comprised of both students who have grown up at FBC Augusta, along with many who have made Augusta their temporary home while in college.  David and Ruth Crews and David and Nancy Keel direct the college ministry.  Activities include weekly off campus Bible studies, fellowships, and retreat weekends.  We hope to have you join us.

Weekly Schedule

Tuesdays at 7 p.m. – Off campus Bible study at the home of David and Ruth Crews.  Dinner is served!

Sundays at 10:00 a.m.  – Sunday morning Bible Study on the 2nd floor of the Walton building Room 201.  Breakfast is served!
