Worship

During our worship hours of 9:00 and 11:00 we have Worship Care in the Preschool Building for our youngest First Baptist Kids. Preschool age children (infants through 4 years) have the opportunity to experience our Bible story for the day and to play with friends in a safe and inviting classroom while parents are learning and worshiping during either service.

Children in grades K-5th grade are welcome to join us for kid’s worship in the Children’s Building on the 1st floor. Kid’s worship is crafted with children in mind. We worship through engaging games, vibrant music and dynamic Biblical Teaching. We hold the worship experience for children as an important part of their spiritual development and want the time they share with us to be the best part of their week.

Sunday School

During Sunday School at 10:00 am, preschoolers and children are divided into small groups based on developmental stage and grade. From the youngest age, they are taught about God’s love for them and others. As preschoolers grow, they learn foundational Bible stories through story, song, games, home living, puzzles, blocks, nature, art and books.

Children grades K-5 experience God through interactive hands-on learning in their classrooms located on the first and second floors of the Children’s Building. Committed teachers provide a warm and friendly place for children to nurture their trust and faith in a relationship with Jesus and make lifelong connections with their leaders and friends.

A Safe Place to Grow

Your child’s safety is our top priority! All of our nursery workers, worship care volunteers and teachers for preschool and children have been screened, background checked and trained in our child protection and safety policies. Every classroom follows a 2 screened adult policy.

For our preschool families all workers and volunteers will follow all instructions parents leave regarding feedings and naps. Each infant or baby has his or her own crib space with clean linens each week, and all toys and equipment are sanitized after each use. Parents are encouraged to label everything in their child’s bag and bring a drink, snack, diapers and change of clothes for each child ages 2 and under.

All preschool guest families will be helped with checking in at one of the security kiosks in the hallway. The kiosk will print a security tag for each child and his or her bag and a matching security ID number for the parents to present at pick-up. For our children grades K-2 we ask that parents drop off and pick up at either our Worship Theater or their Sunday school/M3 classrooms. We allow 3rd- 5th graders to meet their parents after worship or class at an area designated by parents.
