Minister to Students
First Baptist Church, Augusta, GA, is seeking a candidate for the full-time position of Minister to Students. The candidate should have a great love for student ministry and a passion for leading students to grow deeper in their relationship with Christ. Also, the candidate should value the role of serving on a team that passionately pursues a vision to connect people with Christ and the community of faith. The Minister is responsible for leading, in all aspects of ministry, youth in grades 6-12 and college students. A seminary degree is preferred, as well as experience in student ministry. The Student Minister Search Committee invites all interested adults to a “Listening Session” on Sunday, February 6th, at 4:00PM in the Fellowship Hall. The session will give opportunity to complete an individual survey, and then join with other adults in discussing and providing feedback for our student ministry search. Childcare will be provided.
