How long have you been at the church?
I joined FBC’s staff on August 1, 2025.
Alma mater or team you root for?
I graduated with my bachelor’s degree from Ouachita Baptist University in Arkansas (2021), and then graduated with a Master of Divinity degree from Beeson Divinity School at Samford University (2024). I grew up in a divided household (Alabama and Auburn), but have now become a Bama fan by marriage
Favorite Bible verse?
Galatians 2:20: “I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”
What does your job entail?
I minister to 6th-12th grade students. My role includes teaching Bible studies, planning events and retreats, and offering pastoral care to students and their parents. Ministry at its core is relational, so a big part of what I do is simply spending time with students—getting to know them, encouraging them, walking alongside them in different seasons, and primarily helping them to grow in their relationship with God and with each other. I have a huge passion for discipleship, so I really enjoy partnering with parents as they disciple their children, and helping students discover and develop their God-given gifts and strengths to use for His purposes.
Spouse and kids?
My husband is Chris Farley, and he is truly my best friend. We met at our church in Birmingham and have been married since January 1, 2022. Currently we are just dog parents, and have a black lab named Dot.
Favorite movie?
I am huge fan of all types of stories, so trying to pick a single favorite movie is difficult! But some of my all-time favorites include Secondhand Lions, Catch Me If You Can, and Fantastic Mr. Fox.
Favorite food?
Really any Asian cuisine, but sushi is my favorite! I also absolutely love goat cheese, and use it in my cooking all the time.
Hobbies?
I love to cook, go on runs, and do anything outdoors! Often, Chris and I will go on long walks or hikes with Dot, and we thoroughly enjoy a game of pickle ball.
How do you take your coffee?
If I am drinking drip coffee, I usually drink it black. But if I’m drinking any other type of coffee (espresso, cold brew, etc.), I usually add a splash of milk/creamer.
