Dear Church,
I am writing you a quick letter to give an exciting update on the Senior Adult development that we voted on at our Church in Conference earlier this year. At this point, Second Fifty Homes, the developer of the new site, has received unanimous support from the Planning and Zoning Commission here in Richmond County. On Tuesday, November 16th, the project will be presented before the County Commission, where we are hoping for full support.
As this project continues in a positive trajectory, the good people at Second Fifty would like to begin holding “Focus Groups”, where they will seek input from the community about what they would like to see in this development. While there will be multiple focus groups for the larger Augusta community, the developer has requested at least one focus group that will be exclusively for members of the First Baptist Church.
On Wednesday night, November 17th at 6:00 pm, you have the opportunity to contribute your thoughts and opinions about this exciting new Active Adult Community! If you are interested in participating, please contact Cyndi Busby at cbusby@fbcaugusta.org. They are hoping to limit the group to fifty people, so that there will be plenty of time to hear from you!
