Director of Children’s Ministry
First Baptist Church of Augusta, GA, is seeking a part-time Director of Children’s Ministry. The position is responsible for coordinating and leading ministry to children in K-5th Grade. The focus of the ministry is around weekly programs on Sunday mornings and Wednesday evenings. Additionally, some office time would be required for preparation, planning, and coordination with other staff. These office hours will be flexible. Also, the position is responsible for coordinating retreat events, a summer camp, Vacation Bible School, and seasonal Family Special Events.
We are seeking candidates who are passionate about their faith in Christ and the role of the church in raising kids in faith. The ideal candidate would have training and/or experience in early childhood education. A theological degree is not required.
