We want you to be in the know and ready for what we will be doing as we navigate this summer differently.
Mystery Trips will be rescheduled for the fall. You will be receiving a full refund for any money that had been paid.
Vacation Bible School will be VBS IN THE CITY, 2020! July 11-18. We will be using the God’s Big Back Yard Curriculum. For every family that registers we will provide a tote filled with all the supplies, curriculum, and snacks that you will need to have 3 days of a FUN FILLED VBS adventure in your own back yard. If it is advisable and safe, you are welcome to invite neighborhood friends to join you (you will have supplies for up to 10 people). There will be crafts, Video Bible Stories, Games, Snacks, and Service Project ideas. Registration opens May 7th. Please register by May 30, 2020. Tote pick up is scheduled for Tuesday July 7, 2020. During the week of July 11-18 you can pick the 3 days you would like to hold your VBS IN THE CITY and the time that works best for you (morning, afternoon, or night). PassportKids camp will be virtual this year. The Passport Camps Inc. team is putting together our most favorite parts of camp and will be providing it for us to do together. As we receive all of the pieces we will get the information out to our campers and make our plan to BE together (virtually).
It is a different kind of summer but we are committed to staying connected and growing in our faith as a family. Come and join us!
Rise Youth Ministry
Like so many others around us, our summer plans have changed. While the cancelation of Youth Camp and our Honduras mission trip comes as a disappointment, student ministry still continues this summer! Here’s how…
We will be planning some fun activities during the week of June 7 – 12 for youth and their families which will abide by social distancing standards.
We are also keeping the week of July 12 – 18 open for the possibility of some type of missions experience here in the CSRA.
Lastly, weekly small group Sunday School ministry will continue as will youth wide opportunities to meet on Zoom for games and worship.
