Dear Church,

I hope that this email finds each of you doing well. I know that I usually tell you a story in my Interpreter article, but during this busy season in the life of our church I thought it would be more appropriate to remind you of some important things happening right now in our community of faith.

  1. Don’t forget that this week is Daylight Savings Time, so you get an extra hour of sleep this Sunday. It never fails that on time change Sunday, at least a few people show up at the wrong time. This is your reminder from the church!
  2. You should receive your Deacon Ballot in the mail at some point this week. After you fill out your ballot, you can drop it by the church office throughout the week or bring it with you to worship on Sunday morning. If you did not receive your ballot, please contact the church office and let us know ASAP.
  3. Pledge Cards for the 2021 Budget are now available. You should have received your card in the mail last week. I want to ask that you prayerfully consider what you will give to the church in the coming year and turn in your pledge card to the church office as soon as you fill it out.
  4. On Friday night, our Children’s Ministry will host “Trek or Treat”. This is sure to be an amazing event for our kids, so please make plans to come and have an amazing Friday night celebrating with our church. More information is inside this edition of the digital Interpreter.
  5. I hope you will make plans to join us for the final sermon in our series “Let’s Talk”, where we are looking at how our faith in Jesus shapes our approach to politics. If you have missed any previous messages, I want to invite you to go back and catch up on what you missed. You can watch the sermon video on our website, or you can subscribe to our podcast through Apple, Spotify, or Anchor!

I can’t wait to see you on Sunday, either online or in person at 9:00 or 11:00.

Grace and Peace,
