WOW! That is all I can say. This year has thrown us some curve balls but you as a faith community have risen to the occasion every week and for every special event. Thank you for supporting your Children’s Ministry, praying for our young families, supporting their Sunday Morning leaders, and providing us the opportunity to serve and minister every day. As you have heard us say before, because of your faithfulness and support we can keep ministering and providing opportunities for you and our neighbors to connect with Jesus and each other in this faith community in creative ways during this pandemic.

One way you helped us bring joy and connection for our families is by your support of our Trek or Treat on October 30. You provided us with thousands of pieces of candy, volunteers stuffed over 300 bags of candy, many of you came out and worked a station, and our families and neighbors came and enjoyed a fun evening of being together, eating candy, and watching a movie. We made connections with a few neighbors who are looking for a church family and have kept in touch with them inviting them to join us on Sundays and at other special events. All in all we had 85 children trek through our campus and a total of 200 participants counting parents and all of our volunteers. It was a fun evening and we are looking forward to our next event on Dec. 13th.

Our Simply Christmas Family Celebration will be on Sunday Dec. 13th from 3:30-4:30- you must register for this portion of the event. We will be decorating cookies, making ornaments, hearing the Christmas Story, and many other fun Christmas games. Weather permitting all activities will be outside. But in the case of bad weather all activities can be moved indoors (this is why we are asking for reservations). Please contact Leah Galey at or 706-733-2246 ext.216 to register by Dec. 6.

Simply Christmas Carols and Hot Chocolate on Dec. 13th at 4:30 outside in front of the Sanctuary led by Dan Gaudinier and our Contemporary Worship Band is open to all with no reservation. We invite you to bring your lawn chairs, blankets (if needed) and join us as we worship and sing some of our favorite Christmas Carols. This part of our Simply Christmas Celebration is weather permitting. We look forward to celebrating the Christmas Season with your family.
