Dear Church,

Sunday was excellent! We began our morning with two in-person worship services that
were filled with energy and excitement. The online services that morning had tremendous
participation and engagement. Many of you were able to see the sermon I shot in Antique
Violins of Augusta (seriously, I can’t remember the last time I had that much fun preaching).
Finally, on Sunday evening we held an incredibly important church in conference where for the
first time in our history, we gathered in the room while simultaneously meeting via Zoom! I
cannot thank Billy Bennett enough for helping to ensure that everything ran smoothly for our
meeting.

On days like Sunday, I remember why it is such an amazing thing to be the pastor of this
church. I don’t have much to say in this edition of the Interpreter. I just want to say “Thank
you”. Thank you for following Jesus well in this world, and thank you for allowing me be your
pastor. I am grateful.

I hope to see you on Sunday as we continue our series, “From Broken to Beautiful”. If
you missed the first sermon, visit our website DiscoverFBC.org to catch up on what you missed.

Grace and Peace,

Will
