Chili Cook Off Youth Ministry Fundraiser

Tickets are on sale Wednesday Nights during dinner and Weekdays in the Church office. Advance Tickets are $12 per Adult and $6 per children (5-5th Grade). Tickets at the door will be $15 per Adult/ $6 per children. Children 4 and under are free. All proceeds benefit the Youth Department
Thank you for attending this year’s Chili Cookoff! We’re excited about enjoying a fun night together as a community of faith while supporting our student ministry here at First Baptist Church of Augusta! Before you arrive, we want to provide you with information about the evening that will help make the night run as smoothly as possible. When the event begins at 5:00pm, we’ll enjoy a little organized chaos and have a great time together!
When you arrive, you are free to grab some chili tastings, explore and bid on silent auction items, or simply socialize around the table. In addition to the chili tastings, we’ll also have an in-house chili and hotdogs provided by our kitchen staff along with various side items. Dinner will be served throughout the evening so feel free to eat whenever you’d like. We will close voting for our chili contest at 6:30pm so be sure to get those votes submitted by that time! Below is the tentative schedule for the evening:
5:00pm – Event begins
5:30pm – Youth Choir sings
5:45pm – Silent Auction Tier 1 ends
5:50pm – Live Cake Auction (first 5 cakes)
6:25pm – Silent Auction Tier 2 ends
6:30pm – Live Cake Auction (second 5 cakes)
6:50pm – Silent Auction Tier 3 ends
6:55pm – Live Cake Auction (third 5 cakes)
7:15pm – Chili Awards/Closing words
We’ll accept cash or check as forms of payment for both our silent auction items and our live auction cakes.
