Ministry at Fellowship

Because of our desire to be simple, deep and missional, our ministry structure reflects a simple approach to equipping our people to be missionaries in their neighborhoods, work places, and areas of relational influence. At Fellowship, you will find a passion to do ministry that benefits those inside AND outside the church. What you won’t find is a heavy emphasis on particular “programs”, although they can be useful. Every ministry flows out of an “Equipping Model”, whereby our people are equipped to do the good works God has prepared for us.

Ministry for those Outside the Church

The church is one of few organizations that exists primarily for those “outside” the organization. Because Jesus has clearly called us to love Him and love others, our ministries attempt to reflect His command. At Fellowship, that means each of our ministries gets evaluated not merely on the basis of how well it serves those “inside” the organization, but how well it serves those “outside” the organization. Rather than seeing these as two competing goals, we see them as one and the same.

  • As we serve and care for one another, we are better equipped to love and serve those “outside” of our church, while at the same time displaying an attractive portrait of the kind of love Jesus has and is showing us.
  • As we serve and care for those “outside” of our church, we wrap everything we are learning in active obedience for the good of our city, while at the same time seeing and realizing our own shortcomings and our need for further equipping to be who Jesus wants us to be.
