Please be in prayer as we launch The Turn tonight, at 8pm. Our great hope is that Christ’s glory would be made known across the ASU campus. For more information, head on over to http://www.theturngathering.com.
At 1pm today out at the ASU track (the one down from baseball field) our very own Taylor Tollison (plays electric guitar for us) will take his life into his own hands. Although I’m not sure how it got to this point, it has and there is no turning back. Continue reading ‘5.30.00′
It was great to hear from Chuck and Miguel about their recent trip to Xalapa, Mexico, as well as Miguel’s plans for the future in Madrid, Spain. I was reminded again of God’s unstoppable plan to glorify Himself in every corner of the world. Come join us as we continue our series entitled, “Act Out”—a study through the book of James. In his short letter, James calls us to “act out” our faith. Here’s where we’ve been this far:
- Identify yourself as God’s slave. (James 1:1)
- When trials come, lean on God. (James 1:2-12)
- When you’re in a trial, don’t put God on one. (James 1:13-18)
- If it’s blessing you’re after, ask, “Now what?” (James 1:19-27)
- When prone to be partial, love as you’d love to be loved. (James 2:1-13)
- Recognize any faith without works is useless. (James 2:14-26)
Welcome to Fellowship’s new blog and temporary web site. We’re currently developing our web site because of the recent move to our new facility here at Woodsprings. In the mean time, we’ve created this site and blog to keep you posted with everything that’s going on around here. So visit often and you’ll find all kinds of great information. You can expect blog entries about scheduling updates, events, news, as well as various musings from the pastoral staff. Feel free to interact. We’d love to hear from you. To post a comment, you must register first. Likewise, all comments must be approved before they are posted. So please be patient as we work together.
Thanks. We look forward to seeing you around here…a lot!
