I am looking forward to the work instore for our fellowship. I believe God will use us in ways we can't dream of. I want to encourage our leaders to keep up the good work. I know God will use us if we are willing to be His hands and His feet. May our Lord give you (elders) insight into His will. You are all in our prayers.

Join one of our ladies small groups, Feminine Appeal. Scripture addresses true feminine virtues in Titus 2. These virtues are meant to be the foundation of the life of every godly woman.

Currently, we have one small group that will meet Monday nights, 6:30-8:30, at Paula Robertson's home, 1112 Medallion Drive. Another group will meet at Judy McGrath's home, 808 Sylvan Hill Drive, on Tuesday mornings from 10:00-12:00. A third group may be added. Each study will run for 9 weeks.

Listen to what others have said about this book:

"Carolyn's warm, practical, biblical, God-centered approach offers the mature mentoring that women of every age yearn for at times. For some, Feminine Appeal may be an excellent stand-in for the mentor they lack right now. For others, it will wonderfully complement the relationship they have with an older friend of the Titus 2 sort." John and Noel Piper, Bethlehem Baptist Church, Minneapolis

"We love this book! It's a godsend for both wives and their husbands. It gives women a clear vision of biblical femininity and shows men what to encourage their wives towards. Carolyn has been a friend and mentor to Shannon, and we're thrilled that through these pages she provides women of all ages the same honest, convicting, and hope-filled guidance." Joshua Harris, author of I Kissed Dating Goodbye, and Shannon Harris

"We'll give this book our ultimate endorsement - we have given it to all our married daughters! Carolyn offers the kind of godly, seasoned counsel that is desperately needed by women today. She is practical, authentic, and biblically based. This book ought to be required reading for every woman - married or single!" Dennis and Barbara Rainey, Founders, FamilyLife Today

"Feminine Appeal has had a huge impact on the women of our church. Carolyn writes with a wonderful blend of soundness, encouragement, humility, and practicality that makes this book one of the best on the market for women desiring to please God in these most basic and crucial of life callings. Feminine Appeal has been the single most valuable book on Titus 2 living for women that I (Connie) have ever read." Mark and Connie Dever, Capitol Hill Baptist Church, Washington, D.C.

Books are available in the lobby for $12.00. Sign up today or call 974-9900.

That's a good one, Paula. :) I can't wait for it either. So glad you get to come this year. This retreat site is great! I hope we get a lot of ladies to go. And I hope they have the chocolate gravy again.

I would chase a cow at midnight (reference men's retreat entries) IF I had a cup of coffee that needed cream ;-) Looking forward to the retreat, I missed last year. Since the Lord has provided an extra day (Leap Day) I'll give it back to Him!

Amy,

I have heard repeatedly from other people at church about what an awesome testimony you gave about Eli and how God has sustained you and Lon each day, but seeing it on your video was truly amazing. God has blessed you with such a wonderful attitude and given you such perseverance in this, that He is totally glorified through your words. I will continue to pray for Eli's bubbly attitude to continue, and for you to made new each and every morning, regardless of the circumstances of the night before. May God bless your unwavering faith, and provide the path for Eli's recovery in Milwaukee, and allow your insurance to come through.

In Christ Alone,

Amy I'm sorry we weren't there to see this inspiring video Sunday. I saw this today for the first time and needless to say I was very moved. I was aware of the ups and downs with Eli but it was your faith that moved me the most. God says what is seen is temporary and what is unseen is eternal. That's always helped me realize that what I see and even what I feel doesn't have to affect my faith. Only God in His Word and His Spirt is what our faith is based on. God Bless you, Lawn and Eli.
