Update: Miguel in Madrid
Published by rfowler October 27th, 2007 in Missions. We just received a newsletter update from Miguel Castillo, our missionary in Madrid, Spain. He has recently returned to Spain, and moved from Barcelona to Madrid, where by God’s grace he hopes to plant a life-giving, Christ-exalting church. This past summer when Miguel shared his heart with us, updating us as to where he saw the Lord leading him, he reminded us of the bleak situation in Spain—namely, 0.06% of the population is Evangelical Christian. And that is supposedly an optimistic figure. Our Community Group has decided to pray weekly for Miguel and I know he would love for you to join us in asking God to move mightily in Madrid to glorify the name of Christ through Miguel. For a full update, I would strongly encourage to take a minute to read Miguel’s latest newsletter (PDF). And then, don’t just set it aside. Rather, stop and pray earnestly that God would draw the people of Madrid to Himself in His great mercy.
