At 1pm today out at the ASU track (the one down from baseball field) our very own Taylor Tollison (plays electric guitar for us) will take his life into his own hands. Although I’m not sure how it got to this point, it has and there is no turning back. With no change in diet, exercise regiment, or sleeping habits, Taylor has gone on record with the emphatic claim that he can—cold turkey—run 1 mile in 5 minutes, 30 seconds or less. To cheer him on, and perhaps bid your last respects to this once rising star, be at the track at 1pm today. And rest assured, we’ll be rolling tape.

Our Mission
Our mission is to Pursue intimacy with God, community with believers, and influence with unbelievers—and to help others do the same.
So….did Taylor run the mile in less than 5 minutes, 30 seconds or not???
A remarkable, valiant, costly 5.52.11 was the official time—accompanied by cheers of encouragement and unbelief, and followed shortly thereafter by a “restatement” of his lunch. Carried up to his dorm room like a new bride across the threshold, he has recovered, only to promise he will never run again. (However, this is yet to be seen, being that the original act was spawned by a swelling of pride in the face of a challenge.)
I can assure you all that running is not going to be a new hobby of mine. I will just stick to making Rob Fow look bad on the guitar…ooo thats right I said it! haha
OK, I think I’m glad I missed the whole thing! Nice try, Taylor! Thanks for the update!
