Missions Party … Sunday night
Published by Chuck Gschwend August 22nd, 2007 in Announcements, Events. This Sunday Miguel Castillo and Chuck Gschwend will update us on their recent trip to Xalapa, Mexico. They will show their slides and tell their stories on working with I.B.U.C., an evangelical church in Xalapa.Miguel will then update us on how the Lord’s leading him to a new area of ministry. Will he plant a church in Barcelona? Plant a church in Madrid? Move to Xalapa and work with the church there? Or will he join a local band of gypsies and learn to sell pottery all over Northeast Arkansas? Come and hear.We will also pray extensively for the church in Xalapa and Miguel’s transition. If you don’t know who Miguel is, he is Fellowship’s missionary to Spain. He has spent the last four years working with several ministries in Barcelona and he senses it is time to plant a church…but where? Come join us in prayer. If you don’t know who Chuck is, don’t worry, no big loss. This will all happen from 6-8 pm on Sunday, August 26 at Fellowship Bible Church.Mexican coffee will be consumed in large quantities before and after our time together. If you want to bring a dessert, we will eat that as well. Bring the kids. Everyone is welcome.
To all my friends at Fellowship Jonesboro.-
I want to encourage and invite all of you to come out to the Church on Sunday evening!!!
Chuck and I recently went to Xalapa, Veracruz, Mexico (a city surrounded by volcanoes) with some of the best weather on this side of the world (we never had a day over 78 degrees, and the eveneings were all in the low 60´s) Although the volcanoes are not very active, we saw a church that is. A church that was very encouraged by the evangelistic training / encouragement that Chuck gave them. We pray that we can see this volcano of a church erupt with the burning lava of the gospel all over the state of Veracruz.
We will have us a good time over coffee, sweets, and the opportunity to see some pictures and hear some stories of the men and women both young and old that were impacted by God´s hand during that time.
Hope to see you there on Sunday night!!
God´s richest blessings!!
Miguel.
Well said my Xalapa partner. They need to come hear Jorge’s story, don’t they?
